Turn Structure

How the
Game Plays.

Battle Command runs on a four-phase turn structure. Each phase builds on the last — strategic decisions in Phase 1 determine the battles you fight in Phase 3.

01

Strategic Command

On the grand Europe-wide map, commanders move armies, control territories, manage supply lines, and gather resources. Every territory captured shifts the balance of power.

02

Mission Objectives

Complete strategic missions that evolve as the war progresses. Secure key cities, cut enemy supply routes, or launch surprise offensives to earn decisive advantages.

03

Tactical Battle

When armies clash, combat moves to the hex-based battlefield. Deploy infantry, tanks, artillery, and generals across terrain that rewards positioning and combined arms.

04

Victory Conditions

Dominate through military conquest, logistic control, or political manoeuvre. Multiple paths to victory ensure no two campaigns play out the same way.
